We have owned and loved Dogue De Bordeaux now for over 5 years. Our first dogue was hooch, and he was the one who started our obsession with this breed. Sadly we lost him this year to cancer, he was the ultimate gaurdian and a true companion. |
| HUDSON photo by: siobhan foley |
Introducing our fabulous boy Hudson. He is producing beautiful litters with very good head type. He hasnt missed on any bitch he has been mated to and produces large litters ranging between nine and fourteen pups.
We had shown him lightly last year and he has done well for himself in the ring. He stands perfectly but tends to pull to much on the lead when being moved so were going to leave him out of the ring for a while.
He is proven at stud and very confident around females. He is a full Brandoux bred male and is the only one with his bloodline residing in Ireland, his grandfather being Toezz. He is an excellent addtion to any bloodline. He is dark mahogany in colour, has good bone, and an excellent head type with maximum wrinkle. He is a very athletic dog and has excellent movement.
He is available at stud to females aged 20 months and over. Accommodation is available for visiting females. |
| SOLITAIRE photo by: siobhan foley |
Solitaire is my baby!! She is a beautiful feminine athletic bitch with plenty of substance. She has an excellent head and plenty of drive from behind. She has done very well for us in the show ring and we are looking forward to taking her out again this year.
She is a grand daughter of "Upsy" and her father is "Matrix", hip score 16, one of the most prolific sires in Ireland. She is a half sister to "Redgrey Gaurdian Angel" who was the first home bred Irish Champion and litter sister to "Libertia Secret with Tartuffe" who was 2005 Eukanubba top imort and rare breed puppy! Her half brother Storm is also Irish Champion.
Below are Solitaires critiques:

This is our latest addittion, Lasair. She is a daughter of Hudson and Solitaire and is like her mother in every way. We have shown her very lightly this year and she is maturing well. Below is her critique from the Dogue De Bordeaux Club Of Ireland Champion Show.

"Dar Og Kennels" is situated aprox 5 kms from Rosslare Euro Port. Myself and my partner have always been animal lovers so it comes to no surprise that we have 16 dogs at present of various breeds. We live in the country near miles of sandy beaches so our dogs have plenty of excercise and love to swim.
Our dogs are our passion and their health, comfort and wellbeing come second to none, we leave nothing to chance! ! They live in indoor heated kennels and have 24 hour vet care.
We do breed occasionaly and do so to keep back for ourselves and all our dogs regardless of their outcome stay with us for the rest of their days.
We began showing over 4 yrs ago and enjoy it as it gives us the opportunity to meet like minded people, although we do try to distance ourselves from the ringside politics as this just brings out the ugly side of dog showing. We show our dogs because we enjoy it and so do they. We are looking forward to showing our japanese spitz, bullmastiff and dogue de bordeaux later this year and meeting up with old friends.
Please feel free to contact me in regards to upcomming litters or to just come and meet our dogs and have a chat!! |
