We have had English Setters for nearly thirty years and bred our first litter twentysix years ago. We only keep a small number because they all live in the house together. Our main aim is to breed strong, healthy puppies which will bring pleasure and love to their owners. To this end all our stock are hip x-rayed and scored and we choose the dogs we use very carefully. We do show the girls, but not as often as we should, and I was thrilled when Breeze qualified for Crufts 2009 getting 1st in veteran under Zena Thorn-Andrews. Not bad considering last time she was at Blackpool she was in Junior. Rayne is not much of a show girl but did try her hand at agility. She was great but before we go back to it I need to learn my left from my right! Sissi will be returning to the show ring later in the year after maternal duties. |
