Our first Gordon joined us in 1999, Oscar - Aldabrook Wizard of Oz. Oscar was to just be a pet as we knew nothing about the world of dog showing. After some gentle encouragement from Pauline and Kevin Quarterman we took our first steps with Oscar in the show ring and never looked back. Oscar loved being in the ring and having a day out with his "Mum"!!
Having done well with Oscar and become hooked on showing, in 2000, Fraser - Aldabrook Fraternal Fella came to live with us, Fraser turned out to be quite a loveable rouge but we found out quite quickly the show ring was not for him. A lovely Gordon but happier at home.
After the sad loss of Oscar in 2006, Fraser having spent his life with Oscar could not cope on his own. So Pauline gave us our third Aldabrook, Callum came to live with us in September 2006 and Fraser is now a much happier dog again. Callum and Fraser our best of friends and since our move to Herefordshire last year really enjoy their new home, with lots of open space to charge around in, playing and chasing any wildlife that might move! Frasers favourite past time is watching the baby bunnies on the front lawn from the conservatory.
I have enjoyed getting back into the show ring with Callum and catching up with friends from the past. As well as showing Callum, we have joined a local aglility group, which Callum loves. See Callums page to find out how he has been doing.
The "Boys" are our life and we could not imagine being with out them, they bring us much enjoyment and love.
