Founded in 1935.

The club endeavors to strive towards promoting responsible ownership, breeding to the breed standard & encouraging prospective owners to come & join them at their shows to meet current owners/breeders & to educate anyone not so familiar with the breed, the history, traits, any training tips, exhibition, any questions or queries can be honestly addressed. Sound advice on health issues, breed rescue & welfare, with a code of ethics drafted into club handbooks & newsletters to provide guidelines to help newcomers nurture our beloved breed, the club welcomes anyone interested, curious or dedicated to bullmastiffs. Club handbooks are free to new members as well as newsletters and schedules for forthcoming shows.
The cost of membership currently is £8.00 per year single membership + a once off joining fee of £5.00.
Additional members of the same household may also join at a reduced rate of £2.00 each.

The club runs 3 shows per year, starting with an open show, held at The Bisley Pavillion, Brookwood, nr. Guildford in April, the Championship show in early August, followed by another open show in October at the Marconi Club, galleywood, nr Chelmsford. The club also operates a breed rescue facility, where all dogs and prospective owners are all thoroughly vetted.
